We should.

We need to decouple the statuses and room names between the app and API to do that I think.

Using shortnames from the API strings and mapping those to a strings.xml file on the client for display.

This will depend on server updates to help decouple the statuses. That OR we translate on the server side. It would be pretty easy since we only need to translate statuses really.

We need to pull out all user-facing strings to do this.

We should write a test hook to catch this somehow. I think there is something in the Android Studio inspector for this.
