Currently, we use a 3 arcmin DEM to generate raster tiles and prepare climate data. This is consistent with the use of the same 3 arcmin DEM used for the Western Boreal Initiative (WBI) work done for AB, SK, MB, and NT. However, for that project, because of the mountains, we used 1 arcmin DEMs for BC and YT. It would be useful to use this higher resolution here.

Note that on the user side it's easier to work with all tiles at the same resolution etc. rather than only providing higher resolution data for certain areas, so all tiles would need to be rerun, and the datasets available via Google Drive will need to be replaced with these.

This is currently in progress, but requires more upfront processing of the data, and will take a while to complete.
