When the 'Up next' syncing is disabled it means changes to the current playlist won't be synced to the 'Up next' automatically. However, if you select an episode in the list to start playing then the app will clear the current 'Up next' and populate it with the episodes from the current playlist, assuming you have the 'Update Up next automatically' option enabled. Hopefully that makes sense to you. Thanks.
I get that, but I am still wondering why this option exists? E.g. when I disable 'Update Up next automatically' synching seems to be disable completely, and when auto sync is enable in options, disabling makes no sense for me in 'Up next' because this updated every time start playing something. Maybe I am missing something here?
Some people don't use the playlist to start playing. Instead, they use the 'Up next' list to start playing. In that case, the syncing state of the 'Up next' isn't changed.
I am using the "Update Up next automatically". But there's the option in Up next to disable "syncing" with playlist and episodes.
So when I disabling sync in Up next, each time I play a new episode from podcasts or from playlist, Up next is still being replaced by this playlist.
Shouldn't it be disabled until I activate the sync again despite the fact the option "Update up next automatically" is enabled?
