See if we can create an SLP-AA 'plug-in' for Elan, along the lines of the CMU sample shown here:
https://github.com/neulab/cmulab_elan_extension/

Other information from the CMU team:

"We used the Audio/Video Recognizer API to implement our CMULAB ELAN extension (there's a demo video at the bottom).
API documentation / source code (zip file)

ELAN also supports custom lexicons and custom analyzers in interlinearization mode:
