Why don't all widgets support multiple selectors? #77

I want an array of selectors - from the best to the worst - in order to insert table of contents on my website's pages.

But the toc widget does not allow an array of selectors.

Wrong type for option "selector": Unexpected TOML value type at key selector: cannot convert array to string

Is there a reason why widgets can't accept an array while some widgets and all indices can?
