Sometimes when downloading a file, after a while the speed goes to 0 KB/s, at which point the only way to continue is press Pause, then press Start.

When I do this, the resulting file is always corrupt.

I've also had this same problem.

I have not yet managed to download any file larger than a few megabytes with a correct hash, which makes GigaGet completely unusable for downloading files that are tens of gigabytes in size, such as the full English Wikipedia Zim file (2016-05) which is about 54GiB and so far hasn't matched the SHA-1 hash at http://download.kiwix.org/zim/wikipedia/wikipedia_en_all_2016-05.zim.sha1, with each attempt resulting in a different hash.
