Hi David,

Following our conversation on thread #62, I am opening this as a new enhancement request.
The request is for following -
1). Limit the number of matching documents for a particular word in the sentence.
2). Ability to specify a sort field present in the document.

Best,
Amit

Hi David,

Wanted to quickly check if you got a chance to look at it and when are you planning to work on it. I understand that this might not be as important for you, but I am kind of stuck because of this. Please help. I am using the 2.4 version of tagger.

Best,
Amit

Sorry but I simply have no time for this. If it were a trivial feature then I probably would have fit it in one of these evenings, but it's not. Perhaps a day effort including tests; hard to say. If you/your-company might be interested in paying for the feature than consider contacting me directly [email protected]

Hi David.
I am new to solr. But I found sort by fields is an interesting feature.
I would be grateful if you could help me knowing where and how should I start.
Thanks.

Well you might start by looking at Solr FieldType.getSortField and checking out the API from there.
