Question for the question: what is asking this supposed to accomplish?

The SC membership is not made based on people other SC members want to work with; whoever gets elected will hopefully learn to trust the judgement of any members they may have any reserves about.

Working alongside people in this community has always been a great privilege, and I'm happy to count many people I've met through Nix among my friends. I'm excited to work with any Committee combination, because in all cases I know we'll share a deep love for this community and a powerful drive to see these projects succeed.
