I’ve expressed my frustration with the popup on Fedi itself multiple times. It’s mostly useless anyway because its suggestions are inalllowercase instead of InCamelCase or inDromedarCase, so I’d personally like to abolish it totally, but I guess some other users may want it plus it’s a way-of-sorts to discover existing hashtags.

I’ve also been foiled by computers attempting to correct what I wrote too many times to care. I’d rather prefer to make my own mistakes, then at least I know they are mine.

I’d like for there to be a user preference to disable the popup so it never shows up, i.e. restore the status quo from before GtS gained proper hashtag support in (IIRC) v0.11.

(I can’t imagine things popping up suddenly are at all accessible, either…)

Small point, but Semaphore respects the hashtag casing provided by Mastodon v4.2.0. Does GTS lowercase them all?

Uh, I have no idea, I just use GtS ;)

But I can use F12… hmm… yes, seems so (unless they all came in in lowercase).
