Why

I don't like how the precepts appear on the facet search- they can't be read very well because they are too many characters and are being cut off.

What

Let's rename the metadata labels, removing "Precept X" from the beginning.

Options I can think of:

  • Remove "Precept X: " entirely
  • Replace "Precept X: " with just "X: "

I am partial to option 2

That could be done. We're currently changing the value that's returned from solr for the question facet to the label value from the schema. We could do something similar for this field. The drawback here is that it would remove that label from everywhere in the interface that it's currently used. (e.g., in the dataset page, and the edit forms).

Alternatively, following the method that's used for the questions, we should be able to just drop the Precept from the facet label, and retain it elsewhere in the interface.
