UPPv4.1 was the last version to be supported to the community for the WRF application. UPPv11.0 "should" still work with WRF, however, it was not tested for the community and therefor the options in the run script were removed. If you would like to use the run_upp script, you will need to modify it to add back the WRF options. The run_upp script sets up the working directory, links in data tables and coefficient files, links in the UPP config postxconfig-NT.txt, and sets up the namelist (itag). You can also do this manually and then run upp executable (or submit as batch job). Here is an example itag for WRF which is different than FV3 (LAM/GFS): /path/to/wrfout_d01_2008-01-11_06:00:00 |
