Writing content to a USB flash drive

Hello,

I am wondering if this plugin would allow me to write to a USB Flash drive and/or request permissions in a Cordova app running in Oreo or above. I have been working on trying to write content to a USB flash drive using my cordova app on an Oreo OS, and am not able to resolve the permissions issues despite requesting read and write permissions. If you could let me know whether this is feasible with this app and what command I should try to achieve this, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
