Hello,

today I used the following command to clean free space on a Cluster Shared Volume. I did this on one of the Hyper-V Cluster Nodes:

sdelete -z 41

This is a Hyper-V Cluster with shared storage. The LUNs shared over all Cluster Nodes.

The command ran for about 10 Minutes. After that the VMs on the Cluster Shared Voumes became unresponsible. I noticed that they have crashed and were unable to boot.

On further Investigation I saw that all VHDX files on the Volume were damaged.

I had to restore all VMs on that Volume...

Any idea what caused the issue?
