Juno will no longer have the tray so none of the cloud sync apps will currently be well supported, nor remmina, nor ..... you get the idea.

Perhaps another "project" should be created so issues can be used to track the progress of all the apps in your current icon set and how they will "get around" the deprication of the tray.

In my opinion elementary+ should be split into two projects. One normal icon set which would be largely independent of elementary versions (and also work on other distros) and just be an addon to the elementary icon set (so people get a more complete experience when using third party apps) and another project for tray icons, indicators etc. which would probably only work with Loki and earlier. Problem is I currently don't have time to maintain it and am not even using elementary at the moment.

@quassy that seems like an awful lot of work for not much use-case. It seems more logical to stick to the original purpose of providing third-party icons. Less work, more focus.
Edit: Also, the elementary HIG regarding tray icons should make the job easier since there will no-longer be need for tray icons. This would also close many of the icon request issues.
