  • Do not start data transfers
  • Do not start heavy computational tasks
  • Do not change the network configuration (external events should be reflected)

Stop unwanted tasks before starting experiment
9578cd9 
UNWANTED_TASKS_AT_EXPERIMENT_START   defines what tasks/processes should be stopped before a experiment is started : 

Solves /partly) dangling processes/tasks in #7
Do not solve unknown processes that use cpu/bandwith or processes that automatically restarts
