I have DRD enabled in the BIOS but it still doesn't show up

Running in terminal throws the error:

INFO[0001] failed to connect to daemon error="context deadline exceeded"

Try connecting your steamdeck with your pc before starting deckjoy.

A new device in /sys/class/udc/ should show up:

(deck@steamdeck ~)$ ls -al /sys/class/udc/
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Mar 9 11:23 .
drwxr-xr-x 71 root root 0 Mar 9 11:23 ..
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 0 Mar  9 11:25 dwc3.1.auto -> ../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:08.1/0000:04:00.3/dwc3.1.auto/udc/dwc3.1.auto

It was connected before starting the app, I even tried to reboot my Deck with it still plugged in, still doesn't work after.

That command run both before and after running Deckjoy with the USB plugged in the whole time only outputs the first two lines you showed

total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Mar 12 01:20 .
drwxr-xr-x. 77 root root 0 Mar 11 20:19 ..

DRD seems to be broken in multiple bios versions.
dafta/DeckMTP#16
Could your check which version is installed on your deck?

According to a reddit thread, switching DRD mode off and on again can also fix the issue...

There also seem to be issues with usb 3.0 connections, you could also try to use a usb2 cable or port on your device.

I tried 112, 115, 116, 118, 119, 120, and 121 and 115/118 are known to work with DRD.

Already tried toggling it, as for USB 3. My PC only has USB 3 ports and I've tried both 2.0 and 3.0 cords.

That's weird, is anything showing up in dmesg?

I'm getting this on OLED as well

I've tried a couple of the above steps and no luck. I know the cable works, I checked it with my phone and the steam deck even detects power from it.

Could you post a full dmesg dump?
