Bug Description

The video shows it best:

Create-Astral-2024-11-18_22.07.00.mp4

How to Reproduce?

  1. Put Shield Strap on leggins and equip.
  2. Put items into your offhand
  3. Press the leggings interact keybind (i by default) to swap to the next shield strap slot to show it is working. Press again to swap back to the first item.
  4. Hold a hammer or other two handed tool then press the leggings interact keybind
  5. Stop holding the hammer and note that your offhand is now empty, and no matter how much you smash the interact keybind nothing comes out of your shield strap.

Expected Behavior

Not to delete two extendo grips, one blahaj and a very nicely enchanted trident.

Version

2.1.2

Neither the Offhanded modifier or the Dual Wielding modifier do anything to help this situation, in fact it seems that neither of them actually work anyway (i cannot use my hammer from the offhand when it has dual weilding)

This very much feels like a Hephaestus problem. If you can reproduce this entirely with just Hephaestus there isn't much we can do, as it's not getting any updates for 1.18.2 anymore
