Description

$ ./Zap-linux-x86_64-v0.7.6-beta.AppImage
[7016:0502/051400.488801:FATAL:gpu_data_manager_impl_private.cc(439)] GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye.
Pułapka debuggera/breakpoint

Possible Fix

$ ./Zap-linux-x86_64-v0.7.6-beta.AppImage --no-sandbox

Context

Maybe it's because I'm running xmonad. Or gentoo. Nevertheless, the app quits printing no more information, no error code, no nothing, so I won't paste it here.

Your Environment

  • Zap version: 0.7.6
  • Operating System and version: Gentoo, there are no versions here :)

I think we need a newer electron version to get this fixed.
I am on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and without --no-sandbox I have the same issue.

I made it work using

zap-desktop --in-process-gpu

Also using this

zap-desktop --disable-gpu-sandbox
