Maintaining biometrics

Although I have biometrics enabled, about 50% of the time I am shown that biometrics are not "available", so I must login manually, after which the biometrics prompt appears, and accepts my print.

How can I prevent this? What am I doing wrong?

I imagine that your database URI is linked to a Cloud. This can happen if the URI isn't delivered from the start because the file provider of the cloud application doesn't provide it instantly.

I use Onedrive. Do you have a more reliable cloud device you prefer?
