Cant get this to work with v-data-table

I have installed the plugin and added all the imports etc from the guide. Added the v-columns-resizable to the v-data-table and when I hover on the left of one of the first 2 rows I get the icon to start resizing the column but when trying to resize it doesnt do anything. It only shows the icon for the first 2 columns which is very strange.
Could anyone help me out as this feature would be very handy
