By the way, the system now in another city and I am accessing it remotely. The speed of reporting you see is not the real one, as internet speed now is affecting what you see. Watch the logging time stamp and you will notice how many log entry at the same milli second .... |

I think this is not every tuya device, but the ones you've chosen. In particular mmwave presence sensors can be problematic with ZigBee, because they're typically installed for quick and accurate presence detection, while Zigbee simply isn't built for that number of updates. The specific sensor you have doesn't have a great review at https://smarthomescene.com/reviews/zigbee-presence-sensor-with-siren-zg-205zl-review/. It may be worth looking into the Apollo MTR-1 sensor, which works over WiFi. Or, get regular PIR ZigBee motion detectors that trigger way less often (typically instant to detect presence, and then a delay of 45-90 seconds to clear it). PIR is usually more than enough for light automations.
I don't have any of these, but this seems odd. You can usually check the reporting intervals in the device page, but not all devices support changing them. As a reference, I have ~50 TuYa devices across two different networks. They're nearly all contact sensors and environment sensors, with a few scene switch buttons. None of them spam the network, and if there's no activity (like a door remaining closed) they check in once every 4 hours/ |

Hello
I am testing a huge (105 devices) zigbee network for more than 5 months now, in a factory I installed home assistant in.
It was a great challenge due to the nature of factory and the hassle of system implementation in such place.
I want to share some good news with the community, regarding solving many of the network aspects of signal weakness and lagging due to noise ... etc. by building routers and coordinators (I will share all my designs of pcbs and gerber files that can easily be ordered from any pcb manufacturer).
But at this stage there is one big problem I am facing with Tuya devices that reports like crazy flooding the zigbee network with too much unnecessary information that lead to lagging the whole network.
No one can deny Tuya devices are very much cost effective and it has great variety of devices for different purposes.
But some of devices like VOC or HVAC thermostats, reporting interval is like every second, when there is many of them, the network becomes very laggy and it comes responsive again for some time after restaring zigbee2mqtt add on.
I want to know is there any method to modify this reporting interval (make it like devices working on battery so the interval becomes longer and not flooding the network?
I tried reporting tab in zigbee2mqtt but no difference still the repoting interval each second (maybe I did not do it correctly)?
Thank you...
I am attaching a screen record video to show how zigbee2mqtt log looks like with 100+ devices reporting every second 😂
