  1. ) Overworld Standing Items can be collected during Rain State in Dark World

These locations are always Heart Pieces. Randomized item can still be collected after ending Rain State.

  • Spectacle Rock
  • Floating Island on Death Mountain
  • Desert Ledge
  • Lake Hylia Island
  • Sunken Treasure

These locations result in the randomized item being collected normally

  • Digging Game
  • Mushroom
  • Bombos Tablet
  • Ether Tablet (Same item as Bombos Tablet. Strangely, this doesn't hardlock you like in the vanilla game. You are left in the "sword up" pose until you mirror, enter a cave, or flute. Does not duplicate Bombos Tablet item. Ether Tablet randomized item unaffected.)

2.) Boss Refights in GT drop Heart Containers if you started in a dungeon/cave other than GT itself.

3.) Red or Green YBAs on the Overworld lead to Heart Pieces in standing item locations (like Sunken Treasure) rather than the randomized item. Randomized item can still be collected after transitioning away and back again. This can be repeated ad nauseum as long as you're willing to buy potions. Can also be done with a dungeon fake flute to spot 7 (Green or Blue YBAs instead).
