Another, maybe easier, way to make a factory reset is just to remove the camera from the Tapo app. Camera is then reseted to the default settings. I just used this approach to factory reset my Tapo C310 and then I was able to add my camera to the Tapo: Cameras Control integration.
Maybe you could mention this approach too in add_camera_with_new_firmware.md.
