This means that when we want to release a breaking change, we have a chicken and egg problem: docs won't build unless GLM is compatible with the new version, but it's foolhardy to make a GLM release that's compatible with a breaking change in statsmodels before releasing statsmodels to check for breakage in GLM.
We should probably remove the GLM usage examples and instead link to GLM docs for those sections.
