IdeaVim not loading emulated plugins

I am using ideavim to load nerdtree and surround, but despite having them set in my .ideavimrc, when I type the command :NERDTree I get an error: 'Not an editor command: NERDTree'.

I know the ideavimrc is loaded, as my mapped commands (e.g. f) work as expected.

Is there any way to view debug logs for the plugin, or any other suggestions for troubleshooting?

It is worth noting that the plugins do not load regardless of whether I load my external .vimrc

for now you can replace set nerdtree with set NERDTree and it should work

Thanks for looking into that. I have updated to version 1.8.0 and still am unable to get the NERDTree command to work. Could there be something else affecting it?

That's strange, I've just tried to use the NERDTree command with a config of yours and it works perfectly fine. Could you please attach your config again (if anything has changed)

I actually have this problem too. No nerd tree commands work.

Was having this issue and restarting the IDE did not solve it.

Enabling and disabling IdeaVim did the trick.
