Who maintains the issue queue? How hard is it to clone things to Drupal.org? Where does the community want to be developing? (Gitlab vs Github). Can we license everything the way Drupal.org wants it licensed?

There does not appear to be an issue queue at https://www.drupal.org/project/issues/islandora

I think that the project belongs to jwhiklo, but you are also listed as an owner, along with Danny, Rosie, and Melissa.

A lot of active development outside of Drupal core is happening in GitHub. Drupal uses GitLab, but it is not part of GitLab, so I don't think that moving to GitLab outside of the Drupal project has any advantages.

Anything built on Drupal code inherits the Drupal license GPLv2. Islandora declared an MIT license, but moved to GPLv2 about 5 years ago.
