A discussion came up about keytags. It's unclear how useful they are without the actual barcode reader thingy. This is mostly a bookmark to see if we need to return to this discussion and dig deeper on it.

Another open question: how are they generated? I think Jose said the number is generated outside the system and entered in, but if keytags are useful I wonder if it's more useful for the system to generate the barcode #?
