Fix PModel Signature Mismatch in Profiling and Create Quick CI Action

As described in #256 , the recent change in the signature of PModel was not taken up in the profiling code while this was put on hold. We need to fix that, and also implement a Github Action that runs a small and fast profiling task to ensure that the code is updated with any relevant changes.
