Hey, when you run tests, we need to make sure we have the same conditions. So, try restarting your computer and running WMC. Then, restart it again and run Norton. Make sure to wait 1 to 5 minutes after cleaning before running any benchmarks because Windows will be busy reallocating memory. If you're still having trouble, there's this tool you can use for a deeper analysis. It shows detailed memory areas and processes, so it might give us a clue about what's different. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/rammap |

In comparing RAM "cleaning" performance of WinMemoryCleaner with that of Norton Utilities, it seems that Norton is able to reclaim nearly 1 GB more (see attachments). Any ideas of what "extra" RAM category is reclaimed by Norton Utilities?
Reason for asking: Norton Utilities has become high priced subscription service, so searching for replacement.
