Thanks for the report. This registry is to run the app on startup. Windows doesn't "like" apps with admin privileges running on startup. I get that, but this registry is a way to do it. Interesting how they flag it as an attack. I apologize, but the app can not deep clean the memory without admin privileges. If I remove this registry, the app probably won't run on the startup if enabled by the user. I constantly submit the .exe to Microsoft. So they can stop flagging it wrongly. I hope it solves the warning. It helps if more users submit it. Here is the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission Microsoft provided feedback. Let me know if that works for you. At this time, the submitted files do not meet our criteria for malware or potentially unwanted applications. The detection has been removed. Please follow the steps below to clear cached detections and obtain the latest malware definitions. Open command prompt as administrator and change directory to c:\Program Files\Windows Defender Run “MpCmdRun.exe -removedefinitions -dynamicsignatures” Run "MpCmdRun.exe -SignatureUpdate" Alternatively, the latest definition is available for download here: https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/manage-updates-baselines-microsoft-defender-antivirus |
