Hello. First, thank you for this fascinating project. It is trying to solve an issue that prevents lots of project to emerge. How many times an idea have been stopped by "but anyone could create 1000 accounts, that just cannot work. moving on".
Very impatient to see what uses PoU will unlock in the space, the challenges it will face, and how they will be addressed.
Last week I used the app and participated in Airmeet and Zoom meetings to obtain the verified status (you can probably thank Bankless and the Honey Faucet for that). The app is very easy to use* and I got verified eventually.
I noticed that there was like a spike in demand for new users wanting to be verified and I was in that wave. The system was taking a long time to refresh the score of everyone.
Anyway, I followed the guide in this Github and set up my own BrightID node. It seems to be running smoothly so whenever you are interested in integrating it, feel free to add it :
eNode :
User's public address (@Neozaru verified with BrightID) :
0x92A0b2C089733beF43Ac367D2CE7783526AEA590
I created a fresh address for my validator as I don't want to risk exposure of my main account. As far as I understand there is no technical problem with that. However if you want to make sure that it's me who own both of them I am open to signing messages or stuff to prove ownership.
Info about my node :
Server specs (Kimsufi KS-9 on https://www.kimsufi.com/fr/serveurs.xml?flash) :
Intel Xeon W3520
16 Go RAM
SSD
Location : France
Not sure what you currently have nor if adding a new node would actually be useful for the network or not, but as far as I understand you have less than 10 nodes right now. Also, maybe geographic diversification can help.
If it is developed with React Native and needs dev I can probably give a hand too.*
