Bad compass health

Hello,
I have been struggling with the MPU9250, managed to find the address with
return whoAmI() - 117 (0x75)
then connected to MP and it does not show the compass (bad compass health)- also no compass under Setup

I was trying to get the address with an Arduino(says it should be 0x48
return whoAmIAK8963() - returns 0

I have this on 2 MPU9250 anyone ever encountered this?
any tips would be appreciated

well sadly there are fake 9250 sensors that respond with whoAmI() - 117 (0x75)
and I suspect it has no compass inside. I am still investigating.
So you have two solutions:
1- get a new sensor that complies with datasheet.
2- add a compass on I2C and disable compass on SPI. This should be easy.

thank you for your answer, managed to find a HMC5883 in my stash - added it to I2C and it works even without disabling the SPI.
Haven't tried flying yet, but on the table it seems fine.
what a pity these chinese clones are such crap, also missed the dispute times - ohh well can't know it all right away!
