If everything works fine in terminal then it might be the problem with the HTTP request sent by the terminal to the electron.
Look for the localhost HTTP request is true in bot.py file.

Well I don't think that it's a problem with HTTP as when I ask it to show me a map of India ,the link to the map appears in the terminal from which I am running the MagicMirror , The problem is that it just doesn't show the map.

hi,
JUST GOT IT WORKING!!
just solved the problem by downgrading the MagicMirror software which runs on an older version of electron.
It looks like the newer version of electron has removed some old features which this repository.

I actually wasn't able to downgrade MagicMirror as [email protected] is no longer available. So I had to actually burn the image of raspbian running an older version of MagicMirror(which fortunately I had created)
So, what I did was :

  1. burnt that image on the sd card
  2. cloned the HackerShackOfficial/AI-Smart-Mirror repository
  3. followed the steps as given
  4. and just ran it and it worked
