I just came across this repository and wanted to know what the status is for this project (is it still being developed?). This is an interesting project and I’ve been doing a lot of work lately on data access from Python (mainly the Pooch library). I would be keen to help out with anything I can.
This week I was trying to get a compilation of all gravity point data from the GA website and ended up writing some code for that here: https://github.com/compgeolab/australia-gravity-data I wish I had found this repository before I went through a lot of the trouble there (it would have saved me quite some time). Please feel free to use anything from that repo that might be useful.
Thank you for making this available!

compgeolab looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind I'll share it with a few people I think would be interested to check it out.
There are a few other way to access the data now that may be helpful. The gravity point data as well as other geophysics datasets can be accessed at this portal:
