Codehaus site went away years ago, so link is dead. Fasterxml.com is effectively dead also, I would need to figure out how to access it; it should not point to Codehaus but to one of Github repos; either https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson or https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-docs Help would be happily accepted but right now no one is really leading documentation aspects unfortunately. |

Ok, I was able to get read access to the S3 bucket that contains fasterxml.com site. I seem to lack write access but should get it soon -- and so I can at the very least fix links. But beyond that I would very interested in collaborating with others to improve Jackson documentation. I am well aware that it is not in good shape, and that the project is sort of constrained by this. https://medium.com/@cowtowncoder But over time I have hoped to do something more, and ideally I would like it to be collaborative effort, to get some help. |

I was able to at least fix the links, pointing Jackson to main Jackson portal: https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson For what that's worth. :) |

I'm trying to find the official Jackson docs, but the site that is referenced from the official FasterXML website (http://fasterxml.com/) is down (http://jackson.codehaus.org/Home).
Is there any reason for this?
I've also seen the repo of https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-docs which is maintained by @cowtowncoder but not actively, making me understand that these aren't official docs either.
Each repo seems to have a pretty well-documented Github wiki (e.g. databind wiki), but this is super hard and confusing for new users in my opinion since Jackson isn't a mono repo.
I think that Docusaurus should get considered as a comfortable source of truth for all Jackson docs. This is a super easy move (just copy & paste everything), and that will increase the user amount and trust immediately.
