  1. Open the Expensify app.
  2. Navigate to Workspace Settings > Categories.
  3. Create a new workspace.
  4. Add members.
  5. Enable workflow and add an approval workflow.
  6. Assign one member as a submitter and the other as an approver , or create the workflow as shown in the 6 cases below.
  7. Go to members and remove the approver from the workspace.
  8. Verify the 6 cases below.

Case 1:

Workflow Setup:

  • Workflow 1:

  • Workflow 2:
