Codeium stopped working after update

I updated today my Lazy packages and suddenly completion stopped working. I re-authenticated successfully and ran CodeiumEnable but there are not code suggestions.

FYI: codeium.nvim now suport virtual_text
But the performance seems to worsen than this plugin

Not only nvim is affected, but also codeium chat in vscode works terribly slowly, taking a lot of time to even display what I write in the chat window.

Deleting .codeium seems to have solved the typing lag issue. Howeve, nvim codeium is still dead.
