FAQ

I'm new, where do I go and how do I subscribe to the mailing lists?

What is the difference between ExPaNDS and PaNOSC?

Short answer: both want to make FAIR a reality for the Photon and Neutron communities in Europe and

  • ExPaNDS is a consortium of National Research Infrastructures (NRIs) whereas
  • PaNOSC is a consortium of European Research Infrastructures (ESFRIs).

What does FAIR mean?

FAIR is a set of principles that describes the attributes data need to have to enable and enhance reuse, by humans and machines. It means Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable and is a prerequisite to open science.

Where is the description of work of the project?

If you have access to the SharePoint, the latest version is here. If you don't have access to the SharePoint then make a request to info at expands.eu.

Where are the deliverables?
