FAIR is a set of principles that describes the attributes data need to have to enable and enhance reuse, by humans and machines.
It means Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable and is a prerequisite to open science.
Source and more details: look for the recording of the FAIR for facilities workshop at t~10min in the resources section of expands.eu.
The EOSC, the European Open Science Cloud, is the place to gather all data and data services available to European researchers in a unique portal. It builds on existing efforts from European science communities and horizontal infrastructures like EGI to share their data and tools in a trusted and federated way.
ExPaNDS is extending the EOSC to its own communitites: the PaN national RIs staff and users. For them and for the wider EOSC community, we are making our data and associated data services available in a unified way.
For more details, please see the report from our dedicated workshop on EOSC.
