Currently supported VM images are:

  • RockyLinux: 8.6 (EoL), 8.7 (Active until 31. May 2025)
    • CentOS 7.9 (Security patches until 30. Jun 2024)
    • Ubuntu
      • 18.04 (Security patches until 31. May 2023)
      • 20.04 (Security patches until 02. Apr 2025)
  • No serverless as a instance image as far as i can tell, maybe the EWC apps can be used instead

There are no images to create for example a SSH Gate or VPN, this needs to be done by us.

So, does "VM images" mean we'll be using ostack? @mrauhala - should this info be added to the architecture document?
