Enable the concept of "alias" when parsing the ESGF CV. This is useful for example to map DRS names (taken from the Unix directory structure) to the official values used in the search.
For example:

esgf:field name="model" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1"
recordType="Dataset" esgf:value aliases="access, access1, access10"
ACCESS1.0
