CapsLock color change on press is inconsistent

When I briefly press the caps lock key, the LED color change does not occur.

If I hold the key down for a short period of time, the color change may or may not occur. I haven't been able to determine a pattern to when it does and doesn't work.

Pushing the keyboard config from Bazecor yields inconsistent results.

I am running Bazecor 0.3.3 and the associated firmware.

Let me know what I can try or additional information I can provide.
