Feature description

Examples:

  • Thomas Jefferson wrote “You know that nobody wishes more ardently to see an abolition not only of the trade, but of the condition of slavery.” while owning hundreds of slaves, and serving as US President.

Find other examples to show that throughout history, the powerful have used words to satisfy the public and justify their actions, while enacting no change.
