Highlighter (mod) + VanillaFix = crushes the game while loading (1.12.2)

The mod Highlighter runs nicely without VanillaFix (and vice versa without Highlighter).

Just wanted to add a little mod, that adds a gold star on a corner of items' icons when picked up at the first time. Looked in configs of both mods to realise I have no idea what to do.
