Invalid dates are coming in from the TEI files.  Then when we try to use those 
dates, for example, to create a timeline, it completely throws off the 
visualization.  We need to revisit how the TEI files are being imported and do 
a better job of fixing partial dates such as 1965-xx-05.

Alternatively, we could ignore dates that are obviously invalid when we create 
timelines.
