What formats are supported in VISH and in e-Excursions?

Almost any format is supported in VISH.

Every user (either a scientist or a teacher) can upload their files and use the files uploaded by any other user to create their e-Excursions.

For example:

• Photos and images (in jpeg, jpg, gif, png, ...).
• Videos (in avi, mpeg, H264, ...).
• Text.
• Applets.
• Flash objects (games, videos, applications, ...).
• Files (pdf, ppt, doc, ...).
• Streaming objects (either flash or applets).

What kind of content is recommended to add to VISH platform?

As e-Excursions are presentations in slides. The recommended contents to use are those that are more visual.

Like photos or images, videos, text and flash or streaming objects.
