Is there a control can provide desired size for its content?

When placing controls in a layout, it is necessary to provide a desired size. But if you set Width and Height property, this might make it difficult to automatically adapt the size of the control.

So is there a control can provide desired size for its content? Its Measure and Arrange functions might look like this:

@Poker-sang have you looked at the ConstrainedBox control? I think this might do what you're looking for to an extent for adaptive layouts?

Otherwise, can you be a bit more specific to the scenario/layout you're looking to achieve with some examples/pictures?

This one looks good. But it doesn't seem to provide an accurate width or height. I think that if the size of its content changes, it may cause its size to change as well. I think when the parent control decides its size, parent may not follow the aspect ratio (RiverFlowLayout, for example), it may only reduce the width, which this control may not do. As a result, layouts or panels will repeatedly measure (or just cannot perform well) and degrade performance. 🤔

In other words, a probably better Box is whose width and height are not affected by the content but by external controls. Do you think so?
