In these three episodes we will cover some principles of experimental design and their impact on your downstream statistical analysis:
- Platform availability and choice
- Replication and controls
- Sequence coverage and depth
- Statistical concepts including type I and type II errors, multiple testing and multiple testing correction.
The module is designed for a 2 - 3 hour workshop.

Cloud-SPAN is a collaboration between the Department of Biology, University of York and The Software Sustainability Institute funded by the UKRI innovation scholars award (Project Reference: MR/V038680/1) which trains researchers, and the research software engineers that support them, to run specialised analyses on cloud-based high-performance computing infrastructure
