Cursor skipping large distances when dragging and lifting from left to right

This app satisfies my love for the MacOS trackpad! However, there is a bug when I try to three finger drag, lift, and drag again. The cursor will skip a large distance. Interestingly, this only happens when I try to drag to the left or right, never up and down. I don't think it's due to mouse acceleration because this happens no matter how fast I drag.

To recreate this:

1. Enable "Allow releasing fingers and restarting drag without releasing click"
2. Using three fingers, repeatedly drag and lift to the left or right a small distance (about a centimeter or so)

I actually realized this happens without step 1 too. It's just whenever I start a new three finger drag input and move sightly to the left or right.
