Can the transparent part of face shield be made out of PVC?

We have a contact that may be able to make the face shields out of PVC. See below and let me know.

Just from the feedback on the fabrication websites, any clear plastic at the .5mm thickness should work fine. If you are looking for medical clearances, I'll let others chime in.
